In addition to regular concerts, the GMMF holds reading sessions a few times per year. The purpose of the readings is to explore large scale works by Gustav Mahler and the other great Romantic composers, for the enjoyment and musical growth of participating musicians. These are not public concerts, but family and friends are welcome to come and listen.

Our next reading session will be held on November 17, 2010, and we will perform Beethoven's Ninth in a benefit concert on New Year's Day. More information.
